Student Society Hosts ÂÜÀòÉäÇø Day Activities - March 16

The Northern Undergraduate Student Society (NUGSS) of the University of Northern British Columbia is holding is planning its second annual ÂÜÀòÉäÇø Day to be a stress relief for students and an opportunity to showcase ÂÜÀòÉäÇø to local residents.

The Saturday event will feature club demonstrations, campus tours, and various carnival games. The schedule for ÂÜÀòÉäÇø Day #2 is as follows:

- 11am, Breakfast for students.

- noon, Presentation by the Student Society on its plans to building a Student Union Building on campus. The presentation will also include the unveiling of a sign adjacent to the Winter Garden where the proposed building will be located.

- 2pm, Introduction of ÂÜÀòÉäÇø sports teams with an update on their achievements to date.

Following these activities, some students will be attending the 94X Blues Benefit concert at 7pm at the Playhouse.

"It's that time of the year when students need a break from all of their exams and research papers," says Moezine Hasham of NUGSS. "Plus, we invite members of the broader Prince George community to visit, participate in the events, and share some of the pride we have for ÂÜÀòÉäÇø and our accomplishments."
