More than 200 people are expected to attend a sold-out forum on attracting investment to the North, being presented by the University of Northern British Columbia's business students. The forum will be on Thursday, March 11, at the Coast Inn of the North. It's scheduled to begin at 6:30pm.

Prince George Region Development Corporation CEO Dale McMann will be the featured speaker at the event. He will speaking on attracting investment to the North. The banquet is designed to develop the relationship between ÂÜÀòÉäÇø business students, faculty, and the local business community.

"This is one of the first major steps we're taking to show the community just how strong the Business program is at ÂÜÀòÉäÇø, and how the community can help to make the program even stronger," says Jeremy Fung, President of the Business Undergraduate Student Society. "The attendees will be equally split between local business people and ÂÜÀòÉäÇø students and faculty, illustrating the high level of support in the community for the Business program." The Business Undergraduate Student Society was formed to ensure a strong Business program at the University and to develop a link between the program, its students, and the community. The event on Thursday is the Society's first major event involving the local business community.
