ÂÜÀòÉäÇø will be hosting the annual conference of the Western division of the Canadian Association of Geographers on Saturday, March 8th. About 200 delegates are expected to attend the conference which will feature about 60 academic presentations. The outline of the agenda is as follows:

8:30 - 9:50 am
Sessions: Cold Region Processes and Landforms, Geographic Information Systems, Parks and Recreation Activities, and Social Geography.

9:50 am
Poster Presentation on The Anatomy of an Air Pollution Episode in Prince George.

10:10 - 11:30 am
Sessions: Cold Regions II, All Creatures Great and Small, Russia, and Remote Sensing and Climate.

1:30 - 2:50 pm
Sessions: Microclimate and Weather, Geographic Information Systems II, Urban Historical, and Soils and Forests.

3:10 - 4:30 pm
Sessions: Weather and Air Pollution, Northern and Resource Communities, First Nations, and Watershed Processes.

The Western Division of the Canadian Association of Geographers is comprised of college and university units in BC and Alberta.
