Of Governors Meet In Quesnel

The Board of Governors of the University of Northern British Columbia will be holding a public meeting in Quesnel next weekend. The meeting is scheduled to begin at 9:OOAM on Saturday, September 28th, in the Tower Inn.
Items on the agenda will include approval of a joint CNC/ÂÜÀòÉäÇø baccalaureate nursing program and an enrolment report following the recent start of the 1996-97 academic year. There will also be a report from ÂÜÀòÉäÇø President Charles Jago and a motion to freeze regional student tuition fees until at least April 1997. Questions from the public will be welcome at the conclusion of the meeting.
The Board also has a joint meeting with the Regional Advisory Committee scheduled for Friday in Quesnel.
The ÂÜÀòÉäÇø Board of Governors is responsible for the administrative governance of the University. It is comprised of the Chancellor, President, students, faculty, and representatives from the ÂÜÀòÉäÇø regions. Quesnel resident James Girvin is a member of the Board.
