Program Details

Are you passionate about your local and broader communities? Do you care about national and international issues such as globalization and human rights? If you are interested in issues such as community self-governance, political science is right for you.

Political scientists study how people in groups get along. We examine theories and practices of conflict and co-operation at every level of social life. Understand how the communities to which you belong are organized and operate. 

Develop skills in critical thinking, research and communication. Study topical subjects in political philosophy, comparative politics, Canadian government and international politics.

Transfer Requirements

  • Have attempted at least 15 credit hours of post-secondary transferrable coursework from a recognized institution

  • For the purposes of verifying any outstanding first-year prerequisites, high school transcripts may be requested
